Having trouble painting this. I'm going to go back and do the lines again in ink, I used pencil here, but I get a dirty black paper grain on the linework layer in the process of turning it black. This in turn dulls the paint to heck. If anyone has suggestions for colouring line-art that would be great.

the method i use if i care to clean up my lines is selecting the area around your line and then inverting it so that the line ends up being highlighted. then all you have to do is go over it with your color of choice and touch the lines up from there as you see fit. hope this helps ya out lad
